Lawrenceville, NJ— Nandini Madan, MD, a board-certified pediatric cardiologist joined Deborah Specialty Physicians at Lawrenceville and Deborah Specialty Physicians at Mt. Laurel, New Jersey. Dr. Madan brings special expertise in electrophysiology and will offer her patients pediatric cardiology evaluations and screenings, as well as diagnosis, treatment and management of chronic heart conditions.

“I am so looking forward to working with pediatric patients at two Deborah Specialty Physicians locations,” said Dr. Madan. “While it’s difficult for parents and children to face potential heart issues, my colleagues and I bring special expertise in diagnosing and treating both congenital conditions and acquired heart problems.”

Dr. Madan is board-certified in general pediatrics and cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics. Since 2003, she has worked as an attending cardiologist at St. Christopher’s Pediatric Associates.  Her postgraduate work includes clinical electrophysiology at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and a cardiology fellowship at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. She served as chief resident at Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where she also completed her pediatric residency. Dr. Madan received her medical and undergraduate degrees in India.

Dr. Madan has contributed to more than 30 articles published by peer-reviewed medical journals. Since 2010, she has served as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery. She also has a special interest in sports cardiology.
