Dr. Arkonac is an interventional cardiologist and is board-certified in interventional cardiology. Dr. Arkonac earned his medical degree at Istanbul University, School of Medicine in Istanbul, Turkey. After medical school, he completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. He worked in research on molecular cardiology at Harvard University, T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston, MA followed by a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Arkonac’s special interests include interventional and preventive cardiology, complex coronary artery and peripheral vascular disease. He has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and participated in clinical research projects.
