Dr. Bernard John Hynes is a cardiac electrophysiologist and is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. Dr. Hynes earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center Medical School in San Antonio, Texas. After medical school, he completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. He also completed a fellowship in both cardiology and electrophysiology at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Hynes’ special interests include comprehensive atrial fibrillation management, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), cardiac implantable devices and left atrial appendage occluding devices. He has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed medical journals.
