He went on to complete his residency in general surgery at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. After residency, he completed his fellowship in vascular surgery at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, New Jersey.

Dr. Barnes’ special interests include revascularization for critical limb ischemia, amputation prevention, venous disease care, wound care and hyperbaric medicine.
